Diagnostics
The Animal Clinic of North Topeka is committed to providing the best care for your pet. We offer diagnostics for both preventative care and for injury or illness. We are equipped to provide bloodwork, digital radiographs, and ultrasound imaging to help us make sure your pet is healthy and happy.
Ultrasound Services
Dr. John Neeck, certified in Soft Tissue Imaging by the Sound Academy of Veterinary Imaging, is one of the select few veterinarians in Topeka with expertise in ultrasound imaging.
Dr. Neeck provides comprehensive ultrasound services, including abdominal and non-cardiac thoracic scans, as well as cervical ultrasounds to address neck and thyroid issues. Our facility offers ultrasound as a cutting-edge diagnostic tool to thoroughly assess a pet’s internal organs, detect abnormal fluid and tumors, and confirm and monitor pregnancy. This procedure is painless and noninvasive and can be complemented with radiographs and other tests to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal care for your pet.
Radiology
Our digital radiology equipment provides high-quality images allowing our veterinarians to evaluate your pet’s internal structures including skeletal structure, organs, and soft tissues. Many of our radiographs are reviewed by veterinary radiologists at Tallgrass Veterinary Imaging. We also provide dental radiology during all dental cleanings.
Laboratory Testing
Our team of seasoned technicians is equipped to conduct an array of diagnostic tests, including complete blood counts (CBC), chemistry panels, and urinalysis. In urgent and emergency scenarios, our state-of-the-art in-house laboratory allows us to deliver crucial results within 30 minutes. We advocate for pre-anesthetic lab work to ensure your pet’s safety before undergoing any procedures. Preventative care screenings are vital to us, as they play a key role in the early detection of potential health issues. For pets on long-term prescription medications, we employ monitoring profiles to ensure their ongoing well-being.
